LIVE ABOARDS
Live-Aboard diving at its best – taking advantage of the 4 dives a day, you get to see the ultimate Barrier Reef dive sites. Various packages are available: from a 3 or 4 night trip to a 6 night package.
These Live-Aboard vessels are equipped especially for scuba dive trips to the remote parts of the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea. Actual dive sites vary according to weather conditions! Snorkellers welcome.
There are opportunities to view larger marine life on a Live-Aboard with some operators specializing in Coral Sea Shark Dives.
Seasonal Highlights include June/July Minke Whale Migration – you can snorkel closeup to these animals. Coral spawning takes place in November.
